Working in the retail industry for over 20 years, for other companies i’ve always had thoughts of setting up my own business. But with a steady wage coming in this was always a dream and never seemed to go any further than that. Then in November 2018 things took a change and i decided to leave my job and go out for myself. I started doing the markets selling ladies shoes a couple of days a week, I attended Dartford market and a couple of other local markets as well. This was a great place to start but with bad weather this was sometimes very hard work so i decided to find somewhere i could trade from all week what ever weather was and i could also sell women fashion as well as shoes. I looked around and eventually found a unit in the market place the Priory centre, We made inquiries and found out that we could rent it on a short lease which made it more attractive and no big commitments. We chose Dartford as we noticed that it was a popular community high street with the essential shops, like Boots and Argos and also fantastic independent shops.
