Founded in 1987 by Michael Reed, Reed Contracting Services, Inc. began business in Union Grove, Alabama with only one dump truck. Since then, the company has grown to over 700 employees, numerous pieces of construction equipment, and a large fleet of trucks, four asphalt plant, seven ready mix plants, two aggregate facilities, and a team dedicated to making it happen. In 2005, Reed moved operations to Huntsville, Alabama in order to serve the Tennessee Valley more effectively.
