After years of riding, designing, and developing an even deeper passion for kiteboarding, Damien Girardin and Kevin Langeree have fused their talents to create Reedin Kites—a brand that aims to create an incomparable riding experience and inspires riders to enjoy every session. Their passion for kiteboarding and product design has propelled the endeavour to develop the “perfect kite” that appeals to all. Reedin aspires to give riders a unique kiteboarding experience that redefines the sport, pushing them to relish every session. Whether Girardin is getting in the water to test out new products or Langeree heads out to compete in King of the Air, the real reason both began kiteboarding remains in their heart. “It was the thrill” explains Girardin, “We both started because it was fun. Then it turned into our jobs and here we are, years later, launching a brand that goes back to the root of why it all began: to have fun.” At its core, kiteboarding exists to feed the souls of thrillseekers and fuel sparks of excitement and joy in individuals. There's an unexplainable sense of satisfaction and freedom in gliding over the water, feeling waves push underneath your board. Reedin believes that every session should let riders indulge in their passion while having as much fun as possible.
