About Reel Black Studios

We are a black-owned studio that prides ourselves in creating fun and engaging story-driven animations. Founded by husband and wife team Dara and Chris, with over 10 years in the business, we use our experience, diverse perspective and creativity to inject fun into every project we work on. Our diverse team brings a number of styles to create unique animations for all of our clients. We specialize in traditional, hand-drawn 2D animation as well as motion graphics and have on everything from TV commercials to internal animated content for Fortune 500 companies. Our clients include Tezos, Color of Change, Vox, HBO, W Magazine, Hulu, IBM, DC Comics, A&E, XXL, Entertainment One and more... We are currently working on a pilot for HBO while also creating fun animations for corporations all over the world.
