About ReEngage Staffing Services
Our goal is help transform the urban core by providing dignity through employment and economic activity. We believe we have to change the way we assist less fortunate residents in these communities. We believe the solution to poverty is not the government, but a livable wage job. ReEngage, Inc., was originally approached by two Kansas City firms – The Dalmark Group, a major multi-family housing developer and Straub Construction Company, one of the regions most respected contractors – to create a partnership to assist them with their Section 3 efforts. Having supported the vision and witnessed the success of the The Man Class©, they also saw an opportunity to meet their mandated Section 3 employee requirements with more reliable individuals, better prepared to succeed long-term. As a result of those discussions and meetings ReEngage Staffing Services was founded as a division of ReEngage, Inc. We officially placed our first employees in April of 2013 at the Bancroft School Project with Straub Construction Company. Our partners quickly recognized the flexibility and convenience of using ReEngage Staffing Services and began including our employees in other development projects throughout the city. Our employees have worked on 5 development projects throughout Kansas City in a variety of roles. We are extremely excited about the prospects of expanding our business model not only to more local developers and contractors, but also to other sites around the bi-state region. As we grow and expand we hope to provide other trainings and opportunities for our employees to pursue other career paths. We do not believe that every person should or would want to pursue a career in the building trades, so as opportunities present themselves we will continue to look to expand our employee base to include IT and health-care.
