Reentry Care™ is a mission-driven organization committed to supporting justice-involved individuals during one of the most critical transitions of their lives: reentry. We specialize in free, direct enrollment support for Medicaid, the Federally Facilitated Marketplace, and Medicare, helping clients navigate complex systems that often act as barriers to care. Founded by Harley Blakeman, the visionary behind Honest Jobs, and Christopher Turner, a corrections veteran and healthcare entrepreneur, Reentry Care was built on the belief that access to healthcare is foundational to second chances. Our leadership combines lived experience, public-sector insight, and operational expertise to build scalable systems that serve those most often overlooked. Our Mission: To reduce recidivism and rebuild communities by expanding access to mental health services, prescription medication, and vital medical care for returning citizens. What We Do: Navigate Medicaid, Marketplace, and Medicare eligibility with hands-on application support. Enroll returning citizens in assistance programs from government and non-government programs. Educate and partner with DOCs, probation programs, and nonprofits to coordinate care at scale Why It Matters? Nearly 600,000 people are released from prison each year, yet many leave without any form of health coverage. Lack of access to care, particularly mental health and substance use services, is directly tied to higher rates of recidivism. At Reentry Care, we fill that gap, working case-by-case to ensure returning citizens leave prison not only with dignity, but with a healthcare foundation that supports their next chapter.
