About Refuge Art School
Mission: Refuge Lowell is a safe place for visual self expression. We encourage the development of the whole person through intensive art instruction and mentorship. Refuge is designed to help students who are serious about art and those who seek assistance developing portfolios for College admission. We Provide: Refuge specializes in portfolio development and intensive art instruction to better prepare pre-college students to meet the varied requirements of the art programs they choose. We make this possible through small class sizes, individualized instruction, and by placing a special emphasis on critical thinking skills. Additionally, we encourage a wide age range of students to diversify classroom feedback and inspire new creative ideas.
