About ReGen Alliance - Environmental Partnerships

ReGen Alliance partners with schools that support disadvantaged and disengaged young people whose needs are not met by the traditional school system. Through hands-on bush regeneration and environmental education, we create opportunities for students to reconnect with nature, community, and themselves. Our weekly programs run across school terms, combining classroom learning with practical action on Landcare and community sites. Students not only help restore biodiversity but also build resilience, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Research confirms that time spent in nature improves mental health and learning outcomes. For these young people, who often face complex challenges, our approach provides hope, mentorship, and pathways to re-engagement with education and community life. Founded by two neurodivergent bush regenerators, ReGen Alliance exists to tackle two urgent needs: regenerating Australia’s biodiversity and empowering young people to see their own value in shaping a better future.
