About Region Stavanger Visitors & Convention Bureau
Region Stavanger is a non-profit organization working to promote the Stavanger region. The organisation was established in September 2003. January 2004 was it up and running, and currently has more than 200 members in the region. Region Stavanger collaborates with Fjord Norway and Innovation Norway and is a member of the Norway Convention Bureau (NCB) as well as the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA). Region Stavanger is also responsible for running the tourist information offices in Sandnes and Stavanger. Following municipalities are members: Kvitsøy, Randaberg, Stavanger, Sandnes, Sola, Gjesdal, Klepp, Time Hå, Bjerkreim, Eigersund, Lund, Sokndal og Sirdal.
