About Regional Foundation For Local Development Zamah

The Zamah Foundation, operates in 9 counties of Central Croatia through several types of activities (programs). Through our core activity, in partnership with the National Foundation for Civil Society Development in Croatia, we provide support for local CSO-s and other organizations to enable their civic initiatives in delivering positive changes and impact in their local communities. Besides providing financial support to CSO-s, the Zamah Foundation works intensively to promote philanthropy – we raise funds from local sources (commercial, public and from individuals) and regularly organize workshops and public forums for various stakeholders in the community. Our belief is based on the work for the common good, solidarity, individual responsibility and community responsibility, equality and transparency. We strive to stimulate development of new knowledge and skills in communities; Zamah works on positive changes and development of new values; knowledge transfer and the new social products and services. Foundation Zamah believes that the key purpose of community development work is collectively to bring about social change and justice.
