About Regionalna razvojna agencija Zasavje (Zasavje Regional Development Agency)
Zasavje Regional Development Agency (RDA Zasavje) is a public institution established by all three Zasavje region municipalities - municipality Zagorje ob Savi, municipality Trbovlje and municipality Hrastnik. Since the enrolment into the register of regional development agencies by the Ministry of Economic development and Technology in July 2016 the RDA Zasavje is the main institution responsible for regional development of the Zasavje development region for the time period 2014 – 2020. RDA Zasavje implements general development tasks. It elaborates, coordinates, monitors and evaluates the regional development program, the regional development agreement and regional projects. Additionally, the RDA Zasavje provides professional and technical assistance for the functioning of the Council of the region, Regional development council and manages the regional development network. RDA Zasavje additionally implements instruments within the framework of the Competitiveness and Development Assistance Program for the area of municipalities Hrastnik, Radeče and Trbovlje in the time period 2013 – 2020. Other in the public interest development tasks of the state, such as regional guarantee schemes, regional scholarship schemes and local action groups, can also be transferred to RDA Zasavje. RDA Zasavje, with qualified and motivated team of employees encourages networking, the development of partnership networks for the sustainable development of the Zasavje region and connects with both domestic and foreign partner organizations in the framework of the EU cohesion policy and EU territorial cooperation.
