Centre of Registers and Information Systems (RIK) is an experienced public sector developer, manager and administrator of IT-systems. Our main goal is to provide an innovative and integrated environment of e-services for the more efficient implementation of governmental administration, law and criminal jurisdiction. RIK is one of the biggest governmental ICT agencies in Estonia. RIK develops and administers over 200 information systems, including e-Business Register, e- Land Register, central case management system e-File, e-Notary, Courts', Prosecutors' and Prisons' information systems, to name a few. e-Business Register together with its Company Registration Portal is the main tools for entrepreneurs to start their business and to manage their company´s information 100% electronically. The Estonian e-Business Register was selected as First Place Winner for the 2015 United Nations Public Service Award in the category of "Promoting Whole of Government Approaches in the Information Age.” On the international scale, RIK is cooperating with IT-agencies and structures of various countries. We have several successful ongoing and finished international scale projects. RIK provides consultation regarding the best practices for the development and administration of the IT-solutions of the respective sector. Our international projects include: - e-Business Register for the Sultanate of Oman - Dubai Land Register - e-Business Register for the Faroe Islands - e-File for Bulgaria - various Taiex funded cooperation projects - publication of court decisions in Kosovo
