We are an independent voluntary organisation providing services and support for people with disabilities and their families for more than 75 years. Our work positively impacts the lives of over 10,000 people with disabilities, equipping them with the confidence, skills and self-belief to achieve their expressed goals. We are an internationally recognised and pioneering charity, enabling people to live lives of their choosing. Through these decades of work, many thousands of people have seen their lives transform, achieving levels of independence, educational attainment and career progression that may have seemed out of reach. Our purpose is to empower those we support to lead more independent lives and play an active and meaningful role in their communities through the provision of high-quality, flexible and sustainable services.
