Rehemption was born in the heart of the Cannabis and Hemp industry in South Africa. The company came to fruition at the Cheeba Cannabis Academy and was conceptualised by our CEO, Richard Dennehy. A year later, Rehemption has become a reality. Although the international Hemp and Cannabis industry is well established, these relevant industries in Africa are in their infancy and dictated by poor decision-making and abysmal regulatory practices that undermine access to a prevalent industry. Gaps in the value chain and market cause poorer outcomes and access to the market from cultivation to end user. Our solution is to be a self-sufficient and industry-leading Hemp & Cannabis pioneers, creating access and infrastructure for the rest of the industry to follow suit. The barriers to entry can ultimately be negated through sufficient capital, access to the market in agricultural sectors, production processing, value chain marketing and relations.
