About Rehkemper and Son
At Rehkemper & Son, we bring the design and building processes under one roof. Originally founded as a construction company in 1869, R&S began manufacturing trusses in 1975. With a saw and a press, our humble beginning eventually grew into the building component company you see today. With a first-of-its-kind custom designed robotics system, laser systems, adjustable puck tables, and in-house design, we offer the capability of a large manufacturer with the great service you expect from a small town business. This facility provides floor and roof trusses, panelized walls, heavy timber trusses, and structural steel from St. Louis to Chicago and into the heart of Indiana. The office here houses a majority of our designers as well as our commercial Project Managers and our Window & Door department. Rehkemper Truss of Springfield was added to the family of companies in 2012. This location specializes in panelized walls and floor and roof trusses. Positioned just outside of Springfield, MO, this plant services Kansas City, the Branson area, all over Southwest Missouri, and Northern Arkansas with quality building components expertly designed and excellently fabricated. In 2021, the Rehkemper family of companies added Rehkemper Truss of Sikeston. In 2023, this truss manufacturing plant underwent a major fire, and without missing a single shipping day, the plant was rebuilt with added capabilities. Now, Sikeston can provide panelized walls, floor trusses, and roof trusses from St. Louis to Nashville and all across southern Illinois, Missouri, and northern Tennessee. Joining our team in Fall 2024, Rehkemper Truss of Rockford is an established plant that has been serving the area for more than 40 years. Currently supplying roof trusses, floor trusses, and panelized walls for Rockford and surrounding areas, we look forward to growing our impact in the truss manufacturing field to better serve northern Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa.
