Following the horrific terror attack on October 7th, many of the families most harshly affected by the brutality, are suffering from "place-based-trauma" unable to return to their homes where their loss took place. Having understood how quickly a home can be destroyed, these families need a new permanent place to live, in order to begin to heal. At present, there is no solution for these victims within any of the government organizations focusing on the rebuild. The challenge that these families face is the lack of available capital or financing solutions for purchasing a new property and therefore remain in a place of limbo and lack of ability to really begin rehabilitation for themselves and their children. The Rehome Fund provides housing finance assistance, in addition to leveraging mortgage financing from the banks, together with aiding these families in the purchasing process.
