REI-LUX Australia offer a non-destructive stability testing service according to AS/NZS 1170 .2 wind loads on structures for all asset owners of street light poles, light towers, flood light columns and similarly anchored structures. Our clients include councils, rail and road transport authorities, utility companies, consulting engineers and mining groups. Proudly celebrating 10 years of service delivery in Australia with a proven track record. Warranties of up to 5 years are offered on systems that pass accordingly. Static and Dynamic load test load measurements are analysed immediately, providing confidence in knowing that the poles are safe or not. The measurement results are correlated off site and a final report is produced which contains all the relevant information GPS locations,asset descriptions and types, condition ratings of the foundation, mast, outreach, for an asset manager to include in their data base. Maintenance requirements are outlined in the reports for systems that require attention with graphs and photos. Testing is quick and non-invasive with little or no impact on the surrounding public or traffic. All our safety and environmental systems comply with most local and national regulations. The REI-LUX test method and systems can be best described as an "asset life saver" because the test result provide the owner with a true reflection of structural stability of the system when subjected to the wind load forces it would endure according to the required design standard. Visual inspections on their own offer a limited amount of information and are not recommended as the inspector will not be able to sign off on its stability putting public and others at risk. Structural strength and stability testing to the required design standard is only possible using a mechanical load measurement performance tests.
