Reinforcements Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps eligible US military families maintain the safety and value of their homes. We serve Gold Star and Silver Star families - those whose head of household died in the line of duty or suffered a service-related permanent disability. We match families with licensed third-party contractors to repair, replace, and renovate critical components of their homes, at no cost to them, for as long as they remain eligible for our services. STEP 1: Assess Each Home We arrange for licensed home inspectors to assess eligible military families’ homes and identify components and systems that need repair. We then create a comprehensive repair plan. STEP 2: Connect Families and Providers For each project on the repair plan, whether it is a simple repair or a complex renovation, we find the best third-party contractor in our network to manage the project directly with the family. The licensed trade professionals donate their time and expertise, and Reinforcements Inc raises money to cover the cost of materials. STEP 3: Stay Connected Once a family is part of the Reinforcements Inc community, we stay connected for as long as the family remains eligible for our services.
