Our parent company, Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH (MR), is located in Regensburg, Germany and has been revolutionizing the energy technology sector for more than 150 years. Today, MR products regulate more than 50% of the worldwide power supply. The Tennessee location is the only manufacturing facility in the U.S., but we have several sales and service offices across the country: North Carolina, New Jersey, Texas and Arizona. We have grown to 178 employees nationwide, with 135 in the Humboldt plant alone. Our global company consists of MR and more than 45 subsidiaries and 4 affiliated companies. Our core business is the regulation of power transformers. This is done primarily with the aid of tap changers, which adapt the transmission ratio of the primary to secondary winding to change load ratios and, together with additional, innovative products and services, ensure an interruption-free power supply.
