REM Tec is an Italo- French Group active in the field of innovative agriPV solutions and having developed its own patented agrivoltaic technology. Offered on the market under the brand AGROVOLTAICO® , the Group’s technological portfolio comprises double axis (3D), single axis (2D) and fixed agrivoltaic systems. The advantage of such systems is that it allows to combine agriculture and renewable energy power production underneath, leading to the preservation of agricultural reality (and thus food production) by at the same time producing sustainable and carbon free electricity. REM Tec, with more than a decade of agrivoltaic experience, has been the first Company worldwide to develop and commercialize such solutions. The Company, backed by its own Agronomic team, works closely together with Italian and French research institutes, to better understand the behavior of different crop sorts (e.g. maize, vineyard, tomatoes, salads, pumpkin, kiwi, melon, blackberries, rice and many others) under such plants (effects analyzed include e.g.: yield of crop, shadow effects, water consumption etc.). The research results help to continuously develop the technology and to improve service offering. REM Tec can support potential customers in all relevant agrivoltaic project phases including: - Pre-project phase (preliminary layout implementations and energy production estimations) - Development phase (support to get all relevant grid connection and construction approvals) - Construction phase (delivery of Agrivoltic structure and monitoring of construction and integration performed by dedicated EPC company) - Operations phase (support of customer through dedicated O&M team ensuring high quality maintenance) As of today, REM Tec has realized projects in Italy, France, China and Japan and has offices in Asola (MN, Italy) and Garches (close to Paris).
