About Remarkable Sweet Shop
Established in 2004 the original Remarkable Sweet Shop is nestled in the historic mountain village of Arrowtown. Our Queenstown store opened soon after on Beach Street in Queenstown CBD. And in June of 2013, we opened our doors at the Queenstown Airport, welcoming visitors to Queenstown with our own unique experience and flare. Our retail stores are famous as a destination experience not just for our large range of quality sweets, fudge, nougat and chocolates but also quality service and interaction with our specialist staff. The Remarkable Sweet Shop has set the bench mark for confectionery in Australasia. Our culture of service excellence and presentation coupled with a policy of continuous improvement has led to consistent growth and performance. The Remarkable Sweet Shop is jointly owned and operated by Managing Directors Jonathan Palmer and Lucy Hunt. Jono founded The Remarkable Sweet Shop with parents David and Liz Palmer, who have recently retired. Jono is now joined by Lucy, who brings a food and marketing background. With a dedicated admin, warehouse and kitchen team based in Arrowtown and superb frontline staff in the three shops, they continue to strive for excellence with their homemade fudge and imported confectionery.
