Renaissance Art, Restoration & Architecture (RARA) is an award-winning firm, founded in 1989 by Dan Tarnoveanu. The company specializes in the conservation of murals, mosaics, and other decorated architectural surfaces; as well as, easel paintings and objects. RARA also designs and executes original artwork for private and public entities. Our team members are seasoned professionals in their respective fields of expertise. We also have a Liturgical Consultant for our projects pertaining to religious buildings. We work closely with architectural firms, private home owners, historical societies, public institutions, and general contractors in charge of historic preservation projects. We serve our clients nationwide. Our services include: •RESEARCH & PLANNING: Historic structure reports; colors and materials investigation; and nominations for the National Register of Historic Places. •DESIGN & EXECUTION: Preliminary design, construction documents, and specifications; conservation of interiors of historic buildings, which includes conservation of murals, frescoes, mosaics, and other decorated architectural surfaces. •ART CONSERVATION: Conservation of paintings on canvas and/or panel; includes actual condition and treatment reports. •ORIGINAL ART: Design and execution of original murals, mosaics, and paintings for religious institutions, public and private entities, as well as, private art collectors.
