“Film is something I’ve always had an appreciation for, ever since I was very little. From the roaring sunrise that started The Lion King to the tight musical edits that accompanied Baby Driver, this artform has always grasped my attention with a clenched fist and I’ve always wondered how I could do it for myself. Well, since taking up residence in Grand Rapids, I’ve also gained an appreciation for the pride this city holds for anything local. Whether it be beer and cuisine, businesses and organizations of any kind, or one of the many events hosted and built here from the ground up-you name anything that someone here crafted with their own hands and the people of G.R. will embrace it as something that came straight from their home. All of that local pride has to come with a lot of stories to share, right? That’s exactly where I want to come in!
