Renew Adelaide, a not-for-profit organisation established in 2010, activates vacant commercial spaces with unique and emerging ventures. We create property opportunities for emerging businesses, and restore vibrancy in precincts with high vacancies. This means ventures can test their concept in a rent-free location without committing to a long-term lease, and property owners can showcase their space’s potential to the market. With the help of our partners, we equip these ventures with the tools they need to start launch, from fit-outs and financial planning to marketing and events. As specialists in precinct curation, we can expand upon both the tenant and visitor demographic that’s drawn to a destination. Diverse tenancy mix is at the core of what we do, and we’re very intentional about how we activate spaces. We support ventures in all sectors and work with all property types. By understanding the broader precinct, we practice placemaking by building upon the existing offering with businesses that support either day or nighttime activation. Our work supports South Australia’s success, and we’re proactive about finding original businesses that contribute to the state’s economic growth with jobs, and visitor experience. Renew’s roots are in Adelaide, but our expertise ranges far beyond the CBD.
