Dr. Julia has been seeing chiropractors since she was young and knows firsthand how much better she felt with chiropractic care. She suffered from migraines and gut issues for years and was able to be helped through a chiropractor's use of Applied Kinesiology and Functional Medicine. Muscle testing was used to figure out what was going on in her body and how to fix it (dietary changes and supplementation). This is what led Dr. Julia to become a holistic doctor for the McKinney area, and do the same for her own patients. Dr. Julia graduated from Logan University earning her Doctor of Chiropractic and a Masters in Nutrition and Human Performance. Before attending Logan, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics at Michigan State University. After graduating from chiropractic school, Dr. Julia furthered her education by earning her certification in Functional Medicine through Functional Medicine University. As a holistic doctor and chiropractor in McKinney, she treats her patients through the use of chiropractic, Applied Kinesiology, Functional Medicine, and nutrition to achieve overall wellness. Dr. Julia likes to utilize muscle testing to get to the root cause of a patient's symptoms and find natural ways to help them feel better. Dr. Julia treats patients for a variety of concerns including neck pain, low back pain, headaches, allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, chronic fatigue, sleeping problems, skin issues, PMS symptoms, autoimmune disorders, nutritional deficiencies, and more.
