About Renewal

For more than four decades, Renewal has created pathways to help the men and women in our care successfully transition back into society. Reemerging from the criminal justice system as productive, whole individuals, their reintegration presents new and more positive futures for their families and community. Our mission states that, Renewal, Inc. believes in rebuilding of lives of individuals through education, job readiness, counseling, community service, drug and alcohol treatment, mental health treatment, as well as social readjustment by redefining life’s goals and values. Renewal, Inc.’s approach to client reintegration is unique, and offers individuals an opportunity to focus on their behaviors and helps them to analyze the consequences of their actions. This approach has been hailed throughout the country as “what works” in community corrections. Our vision is that Renewal will be recognized nationally as an innovative leader in the field of behavioral health and community corrections for people transitioning out of the criminal justice system. Through a range of evidence-based approaches aimed at prevention, early intervention, re-integration into the community and holistic family strengthening, Renewal will take a leading role in delivering effective and successful outcomes for those it serves.
