About Renewal Corp

Renewal began not from a surge of ambition or some indie streak, but in response to a pressing need for corporate practice reform in the video game industry. We have observed how intellectual property rights are slanted heavily in favor of the publisher as opposed to the originator of the idea or even the development studio. We've observed how project mismanagement and lack of funding have led to unbearable work hours that burn out valuable employees and drive them from the industry. We've seen how employees might not see the fruits of their labor because of being laid off and not benefiting from the residual income, or even worse, how they would be left off the credits if they got fed up and burnt out and planned to quit. Game design for many turned from an exciting creative outlet to a relationship-destroying, sleep-depriving burden, and so many left the industry. Renewal is here to respond to that and bring restoration not just to the souls of men who are being reconciled to God, but also to the industry that so many youth aspire to work in and advance. Not only that, but we hope to bring restoration to a society that is losing its concept of God on a daily basis and is harming other people in the process.
