About Renewal Presbyterian Church

Renewal Presbyterian Church is an actively growing Christian community with approximately 450 in Sunday attendance. Renewal is unique as our church is composed of the age group that is traditionally missing in most churches across the American landscape. Our congregation ranges from college students to married couples, with a quickly growing number of children. Our vision is to ignite a gospel-spreading movement through multiple local congregations in the greater Philadelphia area and the world, so that individuals, communities, and cultures are renewed in Christ. We celebrate the body of Christ with its diversity of gifts and passions. We have people deeply concerned for college campuses, community outreach, missions, as well as children’s ministry, family ministry, Biblical counseling, praise and worship, and others. The church is the people, and when the church is working right, with its various parts, we believe that we will indeed renew lives in Christ to transform our city and the world. We are an urban PCA (Presbyterian Church in America) church located in West Philadelphia. We are reformed in theology with a mix of contemporary and traditional styles of worship. We currently hold two worship services. Our first service is held at 10am, which offers Sunday School and Childcare. Our second service is at 12pm.
