About RER (Rare Element Resources)
Rare Element Resources (RER) Ltd. is publicly traded on the OTCQB under the symbol “REEMF.” RER is a strategic materials & technology company focused on developing the upstream domestic Rare Earth Element (REE) supply chain, from mine to separated Rare Earth Oxide (REO). The world-class Bear Lodge deposit contains high-quality rare earth minerals to provide a strategic supply of REOs to the US market for decades. More than $140M in private investment has been made by RER to characterize and develop the Bear Lodge deposit and to validate REE processing/separation technology. RER and its partner General Atomics (GA) have received a $21.9 million Department of Energy (DOE) grant and a $4.4 million Wyoming Energy Authority (WEA) grant to advance the REE processing / separation “Demonstration Plant” in Upton, WY, which will provide the design & economic data for Bear Lodge’s further development. RER is uniquely positioned to be the cornerstone of the domestic REE supply chain. RER, with its strategic partner GA, has pioneered technology that is capable of >99.5% separation purity of Nd/Pr oxide in fewer SX (solvent extraction) processing steps, compared to conventional SX technology used in China. This next-generation smart process control uses proprietary simulation software based on first-principle thermodynamics combined with real-time monitoring of REE concentrations. Along with recycling most chemicals, these advances are expected to yield higher recovery efficiencies, minimize costs, reduce process maintenance & labor requirements, remove radionuclides below regulatory limits, and be environmentally sustainable. RER Inc. is the operating company for, and a wholly owned subsidiary of, RER Ltd. RER Inc. employs all staff, controls all Bear Lodge assets and is responsible for all Bear Lodge-related liabilities, including permits, reclamation bonds, and insurance.
