CRITICAL SERVICES FOR THE CARETAKERS OF NYC’S COMMUNITY CATS RescueNYC understands the vital role community cat caretakers play, both for NYC's community cats and for increasing the live release rate at the city shelter. The dedication and financial commitment these volunteers undertake is respected and applauded by RescueNYC. RescueNYC's Community Cat Program provides ongoing support for both new and seasoned caretakers alike. Our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) Recovery & Care Program - enables caretakers to embark on large-scale projects in high-need areas without holding and recovery concerns. The space also removes the barrier to entry for individuals who have refrained from practicing TNR due to inadequate or unavailable holding space. By providing this space, RescueNYC hopes to increase engagement and encourage more people to get involved in caring for NYC’s community cats.
