About Research Ireland Centre for Research Training in Machine Learning
The Research Ireland Centre for Research Training in Machine Learning is designed to address the urgent industry demand for machine learning talent. We train academically outstanding, industry-ready PhD graduates in tightly connected cohorts. These graduates will be future leaders managing the disruption that machine learning is causing across industry and society. We provide a cohort-based training model that exposes doctoral researchers to the wider scientific relevance of their research, encourage peer-to-peer learning and facilitate the establishment of networks that will enhance their research, employability and leadership potential. As part of this training, students will undertake placements in enterprise, other non-academic establishments, or in the groups of international collaborators. ML-Labs PhD training is built in partnership with enterprise and three Irish Higher Education Institutions (Dublin City University, Technological University Dublin, University College Dublin) .
