Resilient Bio is a science-driven startup building the next generation of microbial solutions to help crops thrive under climate extremes. Spun out of leading research in plant-microbe interactions, Resilient Bio is pioneering a new category of drought-resilient biostimulants by combining locally adapted microbes with targeted plant metabolites. Founded in the Netherlands at the crossroads of agronomy, biotechnology, and environmental science, our work begins with a simple belief: that healthy plants start with resilient roots. Our technologies are designed to help farmers face the growing challenges of water scarcity, soil degradation, and declining nutrient efficiency, without resorting to unsustainable inputs. At the core of our innovation is a proprietary formulation approach that harnesses both native microbial consortia and plant-derived signals to create tailored, high-performance inoculants. These living formulations strengthen plant stress responses and restore soil function, enabling crops to maintain productivity even under prolonged drought conditions. We are currently validating our prototypes in multi-location trials across three continents.
