About Resilient Retreat

Resilient Retreat is a Florida non-profit dedicated to empowering those who have experienced abuse and professionals who have witnessed trauma in the workplace. A concerned group of citizens, survivors, and first responders have come together to find land, build a retreat center, and develop free interdisciplinary services to make this vision a reality. The unique retreat experience will take place on 84 acres of conservation land in Sarasota, Florida. Survivors of abuse (e.g., adult survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse) and first responders (e.g., law enforcement, nurses, teachers, advocates, etc.) will be hosted for a free 3-5 day customized retreat. Each individual is able to choose from a multitude of self-care programs that are proven to help, including massage, exercise, music, nutrition, and much more. We are experts in programming, but you are the expert of you. Together we can build a more resilient community!
