Resilious helps vulnerable and traumatized children, adolescents and families to a better life. At the same time, we save municipalities a lot of money, which can be spent on preventive or other programmes that benefit these people. Through a range of learning programmes, we upskill social workers and other professionals to create fast, gentle, and sustainable preventive interventions in the home setting as an alternative to out-of-home placements at foster families or institutions. With the trauma-focused and solution-oriented approach, the professionals can support families in creating lasting changes based on their own strengths and resources, enabling them to provide sufficiently good care so that children can remain in their custody. The training in the solution-focused approach also boosts social workers’ well-being, resilience, and job retention, while also reducing sick leave. We involve the family and their network to ensure the well-being, safety, and stability of the children. At the same time, we work to build trust between families and professionals—especially in cases where cooperation has previously been difficult—so that parents are empowered to give their children a safe and loving upbringing.
