About Resolve – Help to Help Yourself

Resolve supports communities across Hertfordshire by providing drug and alcohol recovery treatment and homelessness support. We operate several sites offering different services: Our Welwyn Garden City (Woodhall Community Centre, Mill Green Rd, Welwyn Garden City AL7 3XD) and North Herts (56 Openshaw Way, Letchworth Garden City SG6 3EQ) centers provide a range of services aimed at drug and alcohol recovery, including: phycological interventions, group therapy, counselling and advice on other areas to help you help yourself (e.g. housing, finance/debt management, employment support and advice, access to other services/joint work with agencies such as GPs, Mental Health and Raid and Crisis Teams, onward referral to mutual support, homeless/rough sleeping interventions/support etc.) For more, see https://resolve-online.org/welwyn-garden-city/ and https://resolve-online.org/north-herts-service/ Our Welwyn site also provides a support service for family, carers & loved ones of people with addiction issues, see: https://resolve-online.org/family-carers-support-service/ Restart (Flat 8 & 9 Queensway House, Hatfield AL10 0LR) is a partnership with Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council to tackle homelessness in the area, it has accommodation for the homeless or near-homeless and assists with getting to independent or supported living.
