One complaint in our industry is to many Brokers/Agents and Firms are not specializing but rather having a “one stop approach” which is great for the owner of the firm, but not the client(s) because you’re not honing your skills on any one particular craft. People want to deal with people who are experts and know everything about whatever it is they are buying or leasing from you. You wouldn’t go to a Doctor who specialized in Cardiology and ask him about your bunions would you?! The same should be true for a Broker/Agent. By specializing, you become an expert in your craft. You live and breathe it. You want to continually hone it so you can become a resource people come to and learn to trust.
