RETAILizm was founded by Rehan Bijapuri, an ex-store manager turned Entrepreneur in Dubai. In his words, 'RETAILizm is a simple yet bold mission of uplifting Store leaders in the UAE by providing them with the necessary resources and support system that enables them to grow professionally. Why RETAILizm.? Retail as an Industry has been transforming daily. Organizations are also growing fast, & these changes are clearly visible. The only thing not visible is fast pace growth of the Store Managers or the Assistant managers. So the real question is, why only a few can grow in their retail job, and a majority of them are stuck in the same role for years? To get an answer to this question, Rehan spoke to several managers from different brands in UAE. His conclusion - "90% of the managers who came to UAE with a goal and a vision could not find a support system that can help them achieve what they want to" To solve this, Rehan started collaborating with these store managers. He started offering them assistance by creating a strategy & a plan of action to help them overcome their challenges, execute their ideas and achieve their goals. After seeing the massive impact of this little support he offered to managers, Rehan realized that this support needed to reach all those ambitious store leaders who dream big but are stuck in a rabbit hole. Thus, began RETAILizm - A simple yet powerful mission to help store leaders achieve what they think is impossible. This mission because once, even Rehan was one of that 90%!
