About Rethink Food
Rethink Food is an award winning nonprofit organisation recognised as one of the UK’s Top 100 social enterprises in the NatWest SE100 Index 2025...on a mission to create a generation of healthy, food-literate, and environmentally conscious young people. We work with schools, communities, and businesses to help people understand the connection between food, health, and sustainability and empower them to make positive, practical changes. At the heart of our work is a commitment to fighting food insecurity and food waste. In 2024 alone, we rescued and redistributed over 500 tonnes of surplus food, creating more than 900,000 meals for families, schools, and communities in need. This food not only fills bellies - it opens doors to better health, improved school attendance, and stronger communities.
