About RetourMatras Group

Op het hoogste niveau verwerkt RetourMatras afgedankte matrassen tot herbruikbare grondstoffen. Naast onze vier vestigingen in Nederland hebben we operationele locaties in de UK, België en Frankrijk. Dankzij de circulaire samenwerking met Renewi, Ingka Investments (IKEA) en Ikano Industry werken we aan een constante groei van recyclingcapaciteit en 100% grondstoffenhergebruik dankzij de unieke RetourMatras-methode. Het recyclingproces begint met het inzamelen van afgedankte matrassen via gemeentes op milieustraten, afvalverwerkers en beddenspeciaalzaken. De matras wordt ontmanteld door RetourMatras voor 100% hergebruik van grondstoffen, CO-2 reductie en een zeer waardevolle bijdrage aan de circulaire economie. In februari 2021 kondigde RetourMatras aan dat Ikano Industry toetreedt als aandeelhouder binnen het matrasrecyclingbedrijf. Dit heeft als gevolg: een vierde fabriek in Etten-Leur en het inzetten van nieuwe techniek voor schuimrecycling tot polyol.
