Fitted to the front of a vehicle, the RetroTek retroreflectometer measures the performance & retroreflectivity (night visibility (RL)) of pavement edge and center lines/striping and markings/symbols in the center of the lane, in one pass, without the need to switch the sensor from one side of the vehicle to the other. Safe & easy to operate with twice the productivity of traditional side-mounted, single-line systems. This system reduces by half the man hours, distance travelled and survey time, and it also simultaneously collects data on the absence and presence of RPMs in the same pass. RetroTek conforms to CEN 30 Meter Geometry and ASTM E 1710 & CEN EN 1436. It is the first vehicle mounted traffic speed retroreflectometer capable of measuring across the full width of a traffic lane (right, left & center) independently certified to CEN EN 1436 with the accuracy of hand-held retroreflectometers. A full suite of interactive software also available for detailed mapping & video display an analysis of results. Survey data results can be quickly prepared without the need for hours of post-processing. Allows Roads Authorities and Road Maintenance Contractors to survey road networks accurately, safely, and economically.
