Revive of the USA, Inc., is a non-profit, 501(c)3, organization specializing in Addiction recovery & mental health fitness training. We break movement down as therapy to assist in complimenting the treatment clients are receiving by further reconnecting the mind and body and introducing fitness as movement therapy also further assisting with mental, physical, neurological, emotional and psychological healing. We are a community out-reach organization that is funded solely through donations from recovery houses we work with, and generous donors [who support the program]. Co-founder and President; Anthony Bizzotto is a recovering addict who beat his addiction by following the principles and beliefs of Revive, that when we focus on mind, body and spirit and learn healthy ways to cope with everyday situations, we can overcome our addictions. Co-founder and Vice President; Amy Tappen is a philanthropist who not only believes in the mind, body, spirit connection but has a heart to help others. Revive brings a fresh perspective to handling the stages of addiction and high-risk behavior with the foundation of healthy nutrition and exercise as the cornerstone. Our vision is to create a "bridge" between us and recovery/high-risk programs that will enhance the work that is happening with each participant that is already enrolled in a treatment program. Scientific research shows that physical exercise will not only benefit participants that are in recovery but also serves as a protective barrier for individuals that are on the edge of relapse, struggling with active addiction or are high-risk.
