RGB Analytics provides a tool set for cities, municipalities and local safety councils providing crossing guard services for children a way to manage intersections in their region. We provide a management portal and application framework that allows intersection creation, management and reporting of school zone pedestrian traffic for all traffic intersections in their region. The management framework consists of an easy to use web portal to create and define traffic intersections as well as report on pedestrian traffic data gathered by an easy to use pedestrian counter application. Users can define school start and finish times, create specific zones to create multiple zones in the region, and define the geographical orientation of the intersection. Intersections will be visually displayed on a dashboard that consists of a topological map that captures statical data associated with pedestrian counts for the various intersections in the region. The RGB pedestrian counter application runs on a tablet and allows users in the field to capture real time critical pedestrian traffic statistics and report the data captured to the management portal with a single click once the pedestrian count has been completed. The user is able to differentiate between the type of pedestrian by selecting either child, adult, senior or handicapped in the user interface. The specific direction the pedestrian has crossed the intersection is represented by north/south/east/west identifier and these selections are represented in the management portal reports. The toolset is highly configurable with advanced search and reporting capabilities allowing the customer to mine critical data that allows management to make informed business decisions.
