About RheinPorts

RheinPorts ensures optimal use of the port infrastructure. To this end, we offer our RiverPorts Information and Planning System (RPIS), the world's first digital traffic management platform for the transport of goods on inland waterways. This exchanges the necessary information between all relevant players in international supply chains to provide the best possible support for the physical transport of goods and, in particular, for transshipment at logistics hubs. In this way, inland ports can make their port structure optimally available for shipping. RheinPorts' goal is to continuously expand the traffic management platform together with partners and users, both functionally and geographically, in line with market requirements. The platform is to become the standard on the Rhine and in the European hinterland. Continuously, RPIS will be expanded as an intelligent service platform and integrated into goods flows and supply chains, becoming a so-called "Smart Port and Logistics Service Platform". RheinPorts is a company under German law. The Swiss Rhine ports, CCI Alsace Eurométropole (Ports de Mulhouse) and Duisburger Hafen AG (duisport) are shareholders in the company. Our headquarters are located in Weil am Rhein. The managing directors of RheinPorts GmbH are Felix Harder and Stanislaw Spitzer, and the supervisory board is chaired by Gregor Marx.
