About Rhythm Entertainment Group
Rhythm Entertainment Group is a percussion performance group founded and based in Tuscaloosa, AL. The group is entirely made up of members that attend the University of Alabama. Each of the members play all of the instruments in the percussion family, but each also specialize in their own respective instruments within that family. As stated, REG (short) performs and uses ALL percussion instruments as a means of entertainment. Whether it's trashcans, toms, cymbals, drum heads, marimbas, bass drums, or even their bodies, they will ALWAYS deliver a high energy performance. REG loves to bring smiles to everyone. Their performances are occasionally based around themes, acting, and comedy. In fact, a good majority of their performances are highly interactive with the audience. They not only grab and include random people from the audience, but they WILL get them drumming and dancing as well. REG strongly believes in the internal groove or complete feel of rhythm, which inspired the name: Rhythm Entertainment Group. REG LOVES to perform and entertain their audiences. The group performs for most events including: conventions, business events, proms, dances, parties, ceremonies, and more.
