About Ricami Laura

Founded in 1990, Ricami Laura is an Italian family business dedicated to haute couture and luxury embroidery. Since its creation, the collaboration with the designer Gianfranco Ferré has enabled the company to constantly push the limits of innovation in haute couture embroidery. The result of this sharing of ideas and know-how can be seen in all of the designer's fashion shows. The "fashion architect" did not believe in barriers in the creative process and this philosophy, which drives one to excel, is still very much alive in the workshops. This is how Ricami Laura became the place where the designer's inspiration took shape. The strokes of his pen were transformed into embroidery, applications, superimpositions to recreate the first effects, to give them life. Ferré had such a strong attachment to the studio that he called it "his embroidery workshop". Today, strengthened by this legacy, Ricami Laura collaborates with the greatest Maisons de couture. The embroideries are still made with traditional machines, by hand, which gives us the freedom to respond to all requests. (patchwork, application of fabrics, cords, special stitches ...) In addition, Ricami Laura also works with electronic embroidery machines in order to offer solutions adapted to your needs. From research to production, we accompany you throughout the process.
