Richards School of Music offers professional guitar, bass, drums, voice, piano, violin/viola lessons, and rock band school (Richards Rock Academy). Our teachers are classically trained, have extensive training, performance experience, and college degrees in music. Each teacher on staff has a specialization area, many are multi-instrumentalists/vocalists, and range in genre from classical to jazz to metal and everything in between - Whatever your interests, we have a specialist for you or your child. Our student body is approximately 60-65% kids/teens, and 30-35% adult students. All ages, all levels, all styles. We utilize a learning management system to offer comprehensive, engaging, robust, and effective lesson programs, as well as cutting edge methods to accelerate and supercharge the lesson experience - and most importantly, our student's results. Our comprehensive guitar method, Rock Guitar Mastery Program™ is the most effective method for mastering the electric guitar. Similar programs are available here for bass, drums, piano/keyboard, voice/singing, and violin/viola. Richards Rock Academy™ is our rock band school. Our student bands perform more often than any other rock school in our area, and gain invaluable stage and performance experience. Our bands learn and perform ambitious cover song sets, as well as compose, record, and perform original music.
