About Richmond County Literacy Network
The Richmond County Literacy Network (RCLN) is a community-based, registered non-profit organization, established in 1998 to address adult learning needs in Richmond County. We continue to open doors, offer hope, and make a tremendous difference in the lives of many. Our programs and services not only positively impact our learners/participants but also their families and the communities in which they live. As a registered organization, the Literacy Network works in partnership with numerous government agencies and community organizations to accomplish its vision, mission and goals. Now entering its 21st year of operation, the RCLN has provided the opportunity to access our programs and services to a total of 3272 participants. Additionally, a total of 260 individuals have received or are now receiving an income or paid stipends from the RCLN - continuing to make our Literacy Network a significant contributor to the local economy. This has been made possible by securing a total revenue of over 5.5 million dollars.
