About Richmond Multicultural Community Services
For over 30 years, Richmond Multicultural Community Services (RMCS) provided services to newcomers, immigrants, and refugees. Our hope is that each single client lives meaningfully in Richmond. Our vision is for a harmonious and inclusive society that values equality and diversity. At RMCS our mission is to foster intercultural harmony through leadership, collaboration, and quality service delivery. We are known for the services we provide to support the immigrant and refugee communities in Richmond. We are passionate about our role in the settlement, education, and integration of immigrants from the day they arrive in Richmond. We strive to welcome newcomers by assisting with their initial settlement needs. RMCS offers one-on-one support for newcomers to Canada as well as English language training, seniors programs, youth programs, and job search assistance including resume & cover letter writing support. Our staff is here to provide settlement services if you are new to Canada or have immigrated here long before. If you’re looking for help and don’t know where to begin, we are here to support you. RMCS’ Inclusive Communities Program (ICP) serves to help create a welcoming community for all. This program focus on diversity and inclusion, and is dedicated to assisting organizations and businesses create an inclusive city for newcomers to Canada. We provide Diversity and Inclusion workshops that work within your budget.
