About Riehlman, Shafer and Shafer
Timothy G. Riehlman, Charles "Rick" Shafer and Robert "Mike" Shafer formed the partnership of Riehlman, Shafer and Shafer in the Village of Tully over thirty years ago. The firm grew rapidly in the late 1980's and early 1990's to its current size of eight attorneys. The Cortland office opened in 1988 to provide comprehensive legal services to the firm's clients in Cortland and surrounding counties. Having outgrown its original offices in the Village of Tully, the firm moved to its current location on Route 281 in the Town of Tully. With two locations, the firm now provides a full range of legal services to its clients throughout Central New York. From its origins as a general practice firm, the attorneys at Riehlman, Shafer & Shafer sought to develop practice areas in business consulting, general corporate formation and business transactions, commercial and residential real estate, trust and estate planning, and civil litigation in the areas of personal injury, work place accidents and business litigation. A separate practice area of creditors' rights and commercial collection completes the full array of services offered by Riehlman, Shafer & Shafer. The firm continues to build on the solid base established over thirty years ago. Riehlman, Shafer & Shafer looks forward to providing quality legal services for its clients for many years to come.
