About Right at Home of the CSRA

Right at Home is an in-home care and assistance agency, providing quality senior and disabled persons. We provide trained, insured and bonded caregivers for a variety of caregiving needs. Whether it's for extra assistance after a stay in the hospital, an aging parent who needs extra help or companionship to remain in their home, or as a respite for the family member who cares for an ailing loved one, Right at Home can help. Our home care services are flexible for your needs. We can provide care for as little as a few hours a day up to 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our caregivers are tested and professionally trained through our exclusive Right at Home CERT ProgramSM (Caregiver Education Recognition & Training Program). Kathy Crist, owner and operator of Right at Home of the CSRA, was first introduced to the need for senior in-home services as a senior care representative for an area retirement community. From this experience, Kathy has first-hand knowledge of the struggles and fears of seniors leaving their homes. At a turning point in her life, Kathy realized she was yearning for a career that made a difference in people's lives. She has always enjoyed interaction with seniors. One of her fondest memories from childhood was spending weekends with her grandmother learning how to sew and working in the garden. Today Kathy appreciates hearing life experiences of seniors and has realized they have a lot to share, if we take the time to listen. Kathy has delivered Meals on Wheels and has been active for several years in the Aiken Memory Walk to support the Alzheimer's Association. She is a member of the Aiken End of Life Coalition and is active in the Aiken Mid-Day Lions Club which supports the blind, hearing impaired and residents of Helping Hands – a shelter for abused children in Aiken County.
